¿ä¾à2 As regional torrential rains become frequent due to climate change, urban flooding happens more and more. That is reasons why we have to prepare for the fundamental measures. To adapt urban flooding, each local government need to not only understand the natural land potential but also make an effort to defend against flooding through the artificial facility. Therefore, this study estimated vulnerable area of urban flooding affected by flood-generated impact factors related to flooding adaptable capacity using MaxEnt as spatial stochastic model. The variables evaluating the urban flooding adaptable capacity are classified into natural and artificial environment categories. The variables for natural environment are elevation, slope, effective soil depth, soil texture, TWI, distance from stream, soil drainage, the ratio of green infrastructure per each Gu for evaluating land characteristics, and the variables for artificial environment are landuse, the ratio of non-penetrative pavements and openspace, capacity of rainwater tank and rainwater pump station, retarding reservoir per Gu area, sewer length per urban area for evaluating the manmade area. Based on flood forecasting map of driven by MaxEnt, we analyzed degree of flood-generated risk into four types for each Gu. The analyzed results of the top five Gu for 4 analysis types show that Seocho-gu, Gwangjin-gu, Gangdong-gu got a high score on the four kinds of analysis type and Dongjak-gu, Gangseo-gu on the three kinds of analysis type, and Yangcheon-gu on the two kinds of analysis type. The results obtained through this study can be utilized as the basis of a major financial support of the decision-making about disaster prevention for each Gu when the adaptation policies that can respond to the floods in Seoul is planned and implemented.
