¿ä¾à2 Currently, construction of apartment houses accounts for most portion in construction markets. It is changing from provider-oriented one to customer-oriented one, some large-sized companies are changing into the position to accept customers' needs to the most and many studies and ideas are coming up in order to seek for plans for promoting customer satisfaction and enhancing brand images. But fundamental plans about it are not sufficient. As all residents are the owner of the building in the apartment, so many people are frequently filing more civil complaints about defects than in other construction, and it is sometimes difficult to consider some complaints as a defect. However, as such disputes about defects may cause many social and economic losses at the national level, many studies about defects are conducted for preventing this and may papers about analysis of the type of defects or defect management are written. Therefore, this study deducted factors about major causes of defects by finding out the causes of defects before moving in the apartment and by examining defect cases happened in domestic apartment houses based on their types in order to prevent defects from being caused after moving in the apartment. It selected relative importance by analyzing problems and improving factors of study cases relevant to major causes of defects deducted through research on the actual condition and by conducting a survey about plans for business improvement of defect management in apartment houses through analysis of influencing factors targeting design companies, construction companies, partner companies and inspection companies, and enabled the result to be used to improve work process or guidelines through an order of priority.
