The purpose of this research is the semantic analytic research regarding plans regarding inner city parks which are gaining importance together with the development of cities. Today, when the importance of parks as an important amenity facility of cities is increased on top of the growth of cities, value theorization about park plans is regarded as being necessary at this point when the main types of parks were developed along the early plans in theddd form of central parks, then, entering today, concepts and plans regarding park plans are being suggested through various symptom designs. Thus, this research sought to analyze the semantics through an analysis of domestic and overseas large-scaled parks. The analysis standards, through which the results were processed, were first, synchronization with nature; second, stereo-typed plans of scenes; third, plans valuing the changes and processes of time and scenes; fourth, orientation of open programs; fifth, emphasizing relationship with local societies; sixth, content analysis of diagram layouts and progressive usage of photo-montages.Significant differences were found in the development aspects of domestic and overseas large-scaled parks developed during similar periods; however, this is judged as being influenced by the domestic environment which has a relatively short history in park planning, and it can be expected to improve through continuous considerations toward the value of future park planning. |
