This study, targeting apartment buildings, selected standard proposals and alternatives by design items using the evaluation method and standards of Building Energy Efficiency Rate System. and evaluated the total cost incurred during the life cycle by making an integrated calculation of materials cost, energy use, and environmental load(CO2) incurred during life cycle by each alternative as costs with the aim of suggesting more efficient design standards. For this purpose, this study drafted standard proposals and individually 6 alternatives to each item by selecting a total of 11 items related to energy use. As a result of analysis of these, it was assessed that the better the performance scope consequent on energy saving, the smaller the total cost came out as well. |
