The main objective of this study is to investigate the difference between thermal load of an apartment with balcony and without balcony. And the second objective of this study is to compare the building load simulation results of energyplus and KOREAN web based heating energy rating tools for apartment house, which was made by KICT. The newly being constructed apartment house was selected for building thermal load simulation, and the simulation models with balcony and without balcony were built using openstudio for energyplus simulation. As a result, the seasonal heating loads of these balcony models, which were simulation results by energyplus and web based tool, were compared and analysed. |
