This study is to analyze size and proportion of cross-section in worship-space in the central hall of Buddhist temples as Hutoekan Types (the plane type whose front interior columns are removed) and examined its spatial characteristics. The results of this study are as follows, The results of analysis of the proportion of cross-section according to depth and height of the worship-space of the hutoekan type central hall of Buddhist temple showed that the proportion was affected by frame type (5 Ryangga(樑家) and 7 Ryangga(樑家)) and the position of interior column (Jeongchi Type and Yiju Type). The proportion was divided into 1:0.83 and 1:0.66. The proportion 1:0.83 is the basic type of 5 Ryangga(樑家), and it has a shape similar to square. The proportion 1:0.66 is the basic type of 7 Ryangga(樑家), and it shows a shape similar to rectangular. |
