The purpose of this study is to consider the characteristics indicated in space composition of public sports center. Currently built or building public sports centers are sorted as 4 types. In Busan, basic type and multi-purpose type sports centers were built. Vertical space of facilities is composed of underground part, entrance part, and upper floor part. Horizontal space is composed of large space Zone (multi-purpose sports center & swimming pool) and small space Zone (cultural, maintaining, and other facilities) centering on common part. Area composition per facility is indicated as sports facility, additional facility, maintenance facility, and culture facility. Such characteristics shown at the horizontal & vertical space composition of facility is judged as a method to overcome the narrowness of the site, because public sports center in Busan is located on downtown. In the planning of public sports center , the facility, such as swimming pool, multi-purpose training room, and physical training space for aerobic, which can share locker room and shower room, is required to use the space efficiently through grouping. In particular, the more positive plan is required for exercising sports including golf and yoga which the needs for them is recently increasing. |
