In this study, It was found that the interior roll blinds are not properly manipulated by the occupants. The building energy consumption was evaluated under two different cases that the general window condition and the condition added roll blind. It resulted that the case added roll blind make increases 1% of annual total energy consumption, even though the roll blind is used to improving visual and thermal comfort. As an alternative to the use of interior blinds in curtain wall structure office building, the building energy consumption are evaluated focused on heating, cooling and lighting energy consumption which applied venetian blind that can adjust differently the angle of slat at vision and daylighting area in window system on the curtain wall structure. Each performance of 30 different cases which are selected by differently adjusting the slat angle of blind at the vision and daylighting area is evaluated in summertime and wintertime. Analysis showed that the case which consist of slat 0¡Æ at daylighting area with slat 30¡Æ or 45¡Æ at vision area can make a saving 33% of total annual energy consumption when compared with case of roll blind in summer. And the case that consist of all slat 0¡Æ at daylighting and vision area could make a saving 27% of total annual energy consumption when compared with case of roll blind. |
