Korea's dependence of energy on overseas reaches around 97% and building energy consumption occupies a quarter of overall domestic energy consumption. The main reason why it needs to use high energy consumption at the portion of the building is strongly related to heat insulation property of a building envelope. Among this building envelope, window system generates heat loss more than six times in comparison with common wall. It is possible to reduce the energy loss in various ways. One of the representative ways is installation of blinds. In this paper, the evaluation about the VT and SHGC of window according to the color and angle of the blinds were progressed through Therm 6.2 and Window 6.2 which are developed by LBNL from U.S.A. First of all, after window what doesn't apply to blinds was evaluated, it has been put a plan into practice simulation with different color and angle of the blinds. Also, it compared the blinds effect to the color and angle of the blinds through the SHGC and VT followed by simulation |
