This paper was started from the critical mind of today's apartment, general housing type of contemporary city. In our country, the qualitative advance in housing has been less emphasized rather than the quantitative development and supply of housing. Advanced countries have already been doing researches and developments on new housing models as a solution against oversimplification. However, in Korea, we are still in an undeveloped situation on this kind of research. In quickly changed society, the present apartment has many problems to cope with consumers' various demands as time goes by. Hereupon, on the basis of Open-Housing system, this paper would propose new urban housing model in the contemporary city. The purposes of this housing model are to accept the consumers' demand without filtration, to confront with overcrowded city reality. For the attainment of this goal, new housing model takes the process of housing supply and the method of design which are different up to now. |
