On this study, quantitative experiment and evaluation for external insulation system is performed with an infrared camera by using the technique of TDR(Temperature Difference Ratio) on a newly-built apartment. TDR method is able to shorten the experiment time by comparison with the existing method that is difficult to assess in a short time for the corner of inside wall as a way to determine the thermal performance and condensation. The measured apartment that applied external insulation is newly constructed in 2010 and shows the performance of the wall insulation 0.25W/m2¡É. In this experiment, the measuring range is limited on wall and coner of inside. As the result, most of walls and upside of corners show the 'very good' and 'good' grade respectively. However, some case of down side of corners show the grade as 'poor' or 'very poor'.By using TDR method, it is expected as quantitative evaluation method on thermal bridges and thermal performance in building envelope construction. |
