The 21st century is the era of culture , and culture has become a basic element spreading over the whole area of life. The representative issues in the cultural era are a city, the pubic, and the development of traditional cultures. Particularly, in case of traditional cultures, a lot of efforts to develop the identity of one’s country into cultural resources are becoming active. Thus, this research is aimed at doing research on the characteristics of heritage sites and in-site museums, which are recognized as the world- heritage-level sites, based on historicity, a sense of place, and resources. This research-intended survey museums include site-centered specialized theme museum, and course development in link with the sites, and the museum specializing in sites; in short, the central organization in related fields, and the museum positioning itself in the center of continuous resources development for local economy revitalization are summarized as this research-intended results. |
