¿ä¾à2 Seismic Safety Analysis of Intake Tower is very important because failure of intake tower may incur huge chaos on the modern society. Recently, there has been growing concern about earthquake resistance of existing structures. In this research, the dynamic fluid pressure calculation and added mass simulation was developed for the dynamic analysis of intake towers. The actual calculation of hydrodynamic pressure and added mass has been conducted using an example intake tower. From the analysis results, it has been shown that the vibration incurred by earthquake can be calculated exactly as well as roughly and easily.
