The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the Approach of Humanistic for Identity and Competitiveness of Urban Spatial. It may not directly solve the space problems of real life with humanism or humanistic approach. However we need humanism to answer the questions; how we do and why we do so. Importance of humanism is emphasized, because it provides basis of thinking that enables individuals - the users of the spaces(or place) - to decide value and to concern about the space(or place). However, most themes of existing humanism related researches and development project in the architecture and the urban space field have not reached reflectional questions yet. So, this study mention about that more need Humanistic approach for Urban Identity and Competitiveness in some case studies and theory. And this study has its purpose in analyzing the need for spatial culture, and doing a comparative analysis on the interpretation of concepts of cultural space and spatial culture. It may be deemed meaningful in that it offers an opportunity to look back on the conflict between 'development and preservation' which are experienced in our Urban re-generation project cases, and space for culture service. |
