Existing nonseismic low-rise residential buildings usually have the seismic weakness at the first story. This paper presents the results of earthquake simulation tests on a 1:5 scale model of 5-story piloti-type RC residential buildings retrofitted by bucklingrestrained braces and FRP sheets at the first story. |
