¿ä¾à2 Contemporary architecture shows interest in surface while breaking off the relations with structure and substance and concealing the homogeneous space behind. The important change of cognition about architectural surface is not accounted for only by the logic of superficial packing. It is rather closely connected with the aspect of interface as the boundary area of spaces. Therefore the purpose of this study is to show the way the surface acquires what kind of effect and meaning as the interface of the two different spaces. These architectural surface can be cognized the interfaces such as fashion, skin, media and landscape.
