¿ä¾à2 For construction to be accomplished successfully, effective cost estimation is crucial, particularly in the initial stage of a project. A key term to the success is highly dependent on the level of the accuracy attained at early cost estimation. Among several methods that can be used for the preparation of approximate estimates, parametric method has advantages over others as cost estimate process is relatively quick and simple using several independent parameters. Even though extracting the parameters with high cost implications is a vital process, there are not many researches which have been conducted especially on measuring the degree of parameter impacts. As an effort to deal with this challenging issue of enhancing the accuracy of the early cost estimation and the efficiency of the process, this research suggests a concept of Parameter Impact and validates the logic of it.
