This study shows optimal topological behaviors of a deep beam structure which includes reinforced materials. It is assumed that a solid member is used in the design domain and it denotes a reinforced material such as a tension member. The location changes of the member result in different optimal topological responses of the deep beam. Topology optimization method can produce connectivities of members which can be optimally deposited in the deep beam domain, considering the location changes of a reinforced member. Numerical examples show computational representations to explain the optimal topological behaviors of deep beam |
