An energy and environmental issue are the maximum problems that mankind is facing. especially, Positive response regarding an energy saving issue causing earth global warming is required. As a bridge of building energy consumption about glazing and shading device, this paper presents a case study to examine the effect of changing daylighting distribution, annual energy consumption, cooling, heating, and peak demand for the selection of glazing, shading device, in an office building. This study shows window-to-wall area ratio(WWR) is good for energy consumption. |
