The purpose of this study was to chronologically analyze bathroom-related studies and find out the characteristics. The study of bathroom in housing environment has increased gradually from 1970's since apartment started to be adapted in Korea. Recently the studies of bathroom are increasing as the way of thinking toward housing environment is changed. And the functional aspect shown in the recent bathroom study is different from that shown in the past bathroom study. These changes of functional aspect can be interpreted as phenomenon shown in the process of fulfilling continually changing desires. In this study analyze need of future bathroom using Maslow's need of hierarchy. |
