Exhibition concept of The War Memorial of Korea focused on the period under Japanese occupation of Korea and 6.25 war. One of the most prominent educational center as well as museum The War Memorial of Korea carry out correct understanding of vivid history which is emphasized on the spirit of patriotism and defended this country. From the present point of view where exhibition design tends to convert recently to 3 generations, exhibition design persue more progressive method to communicate with visitors. Exhibition design should not stay in the viewpoint which is concern to new spirit of patriotism, design contents as well as technique must correspond in basic goal of the memorial and it should become the place of education corresponding to it's original purpose. Considering visitors who are mostly group students, general museums and such memorial museums should establish proper sense of value of war and freedom to new generations through research and adaption of new exhibition design connecting to the social education and school education. Specialized museum such as The War Memorial of Korea, constancy improvement on new design methods and mediums are very important to new generation influencing under rapid development in communication technology and personal computer. On the base of above situation this research tried toi present extensive analyzis on new exhibition methods and mediums. |
