The Government had a housing policy of housing supply which was 2,000,000 in order to solve the problem of the lack of seoul metropolitan area's housing. As a results of the policy, the first of the New-Town was complete such as Bundang, Ilsan and so on in mid-1990s. Seoul metropolitan area's 1st New-Town was developed by large-scale residential area. However, it hadn't features of the New-Town itself and it had a limit of sharing the features of housing. On the other hand, Seoul metropolitan area's 2st New-Town is being developed the purpose of housing a large number of New-Town, as well as it has the capabilities of its own self-sufficiency and specialized capabilities. Therefore, this research in the Ministry of Construction and Transportation announced in 2007, based on the Sustainable New-Town Planning Criteria', based on Seoul metropolitan area's 2st New-Town of the plan and the New-Town, 4 New-Town(Gimpo, Dongtan, Paju, Pangyo) for the development of analysis is to it. |
