The waterfront space is a typical example of an urban space and is representative of a familiar space where people can interact and share experiences. Also, as the compatible example of urban regeneration for urban development by coping with fluid demand of cities, it's developed into a condition that reflects the ages. In accordance with consideration weighting on ordinary urban development caused by social environment changes, such as demands from sustainable development, urban regeneration and management etc. are increasing more and more. Accordingly, as change of city paradigm, urban planning will be developed suitably. Using the waterfront space analyses of the Paris' eastern area development plans, I want to search the feature of the composition, the space and the relevance of purpose planned and then to investigate the plan of waterfront space view from urban regeneration. |
