The purpose of this study is to survey waterfront spaces in Busan coastal area, and present problems and corresponding solutions aiming at creating a waterfront belt in the future. There are 14 coastal areas in Busan coast. But in this study we focus on the seven coastal areas which are located at the urbanized section of metropolitan city, Busan. An on-site survey is carried out along the coastal line of the seven coastal areas. In order to build up database we make an direct observation, write down on paper and take pictures of the situation of waterfront spaces on the spot. And then we analyze the results of on-site survey, and pick up problems and suggest some solutions. |
