Now an active study on Korean construction history and lumber as sub material for it is going on. However, because the field is tilted to sub material which is important in the structure, the study on sub material such as Chu-nyu(õðàß)-the protruding corners of Korean eaves-is insufficient. Nevertheless, Chu-nyu(õðàß) is the essential sub material to form roof furniture, and the roof valley is formed according to its tilting degree. Therefore, through a consideration over the period of Chu-nyu(õðàß), I'd like to seize the flowing times, of the frame of the root of Chu-nyu(õðàß), and to study the combining relation between Chu-nyu(õðàß) and a purline, through this treatise. Ang-gog , which shapes the roof valley, is regarded as one of the important component determining the construction's appearance, and this is influenced by the tilting degree of Chu-nyu(õðàß). To learn that tilting degree, a study about the relationship among al-chu-nyu(õðàß), duk-chu-nyu(õðàß), and gal-mo-san-bang is essential, I suppose.yolgi-dori, which is associated with Chu-nyu(õðàß), becomes the base of chung-rang, so I'd like to confirm the structural relation between yolgi-dori and chung-rang, by grasping the time in which chung-rang appeared. A report based on actual survey comes first, for the method of study comes. |
