Natural or mechanical ventilating system has to be installed in apartment houses that are remodeled or built new on the installing standard of revised building ventilation system. Installation of mechanical ventilating system is not only difficult to change the system that is installed and operated but also costs a lot of money. Accordingly, It has to be revised enough during the HVAC design step to plan ventilating system efficiently. This research is focus on estimating locations of air-supply and exhaust ports in the apartment in order to increase indoor air quality as well as make indoor environment more eco-friendly. The final goal is to develop optimum ventilation effectiveness in the apartment in the long run. In order to analyze case studies of the locations of air-supply and exhaust ports, case studies has been performed by CFD simulation. Finally, we could grasp the proper locations of air-supply and exhaust ports to make ventilation more efficiently by comparing results of case studies through CFD simulation. |
