¿ä¾à2 The purpose of this study is to interpret Daniel Libeskind' spatial concept through Merleau-Ponty's philosophical thinking, ¡®flesh'. It means a blend of human's perception and environment to make a shifting quality. The flesh also makes to perceive both thickness and depth of life at the same time. This thinking lives in Daniel Libeskind's works which unite opposite ideas of new/old, ordered/disordered, chosen/not chosen, welcome/unwelcome and vocal/silent. With the process for qualitative creation, Libeskind's projects are beyond visual character as well as provide lived images to the city.
