본 연구에서는 1920년대에서 1940년대에 이르기까지 일본인 건축가들의 온돌에 대한 인식변화과정과 그에 대한 결과로 나타나는 일본인에 의한 개량온돌에 대해 살펴보고 그 영향에 대해 고찰해 보고자 한다. 연구의 방법은 ??朝鮮と建築??에 수록된 온돌과 관계된 기사를 중심으로 한 문헌고찰의 방법을 취했으며, 1920년대와 1930년대 이후로 나누어 온돌에 대한 인식이 부정적인 것에서 긍정적인 것으로 변화하는 과정과 배경, 그리고 그 결과 나타나는 온돌에 대한 연구와 개량의 성격을 고찰하였다. |

The purpose of this study is show how Japanese architects' negative attitude to the Ondol(Korean traditional heating system)' changed to positive one, and the influences of that change. In the early years of 1920's, the Japanese architects and engineers criticized the Ondol and prefer new or traditional heating systems of western countries. Nevertheless, the Japanese resident in Korea had been using Ondol habitually, the attitude to Ondol changed to favorable manner. This change was accompanied by emerging of commercial models of improved Ondol. Academic or theoretical studies on Ondol as like ideal house projects with Ondol and Historical and mechanical surveys of Ondol were achieved by Korean and Japanese architects and engineers. |
