이 연구는 행복도시 건설에 대한 서울시민의 인식을 결정하는 요인을 규명하는 것이다. 행복도시 건설에 대한 찬반의견은 국가균형발전에 대한 인식차이 또는 행복도시 건설로 인해 예상되는 재산가치의 하락에서 기인할 수도 있으며, 이 연구에서 검토하는 연고에 따른 거리조락성(距離凋落性)에서 근원할 수도 있을 것이다. 예컨대 고향이 호남이나 영남인 사람에 비해 행복도시가 입지할 충남지역이 고향인 서울시민의 경우 행복도시 건설로 고향이 발전할 수 있다는 생각에서 행복도시 건설을 찬성할 확률이 높을 수도 있을 것이다. |

Building the Multifunctional Administrative City (MAC) in Yongi-Kongju area which locates at South Chungchong Province is currently one of the hottest Korean development issues. The purpose of this study is to search for the factors that affect Seoulites' opinion on building the MAC using a logistic regression method. This study mainly focuses on how the distance between Yongi-Kongju area and one's hometown influences one's opinion on building the MAC. It can be inferred from the result that Seoulites' age, degree of how much they are willing to abide by the laws, their hometown and their housing tenure affect their opinion. In other words, Seoulites who are older, more willing to live by the laws, and own a house, can be more prone to oppose building the MAC. However, Seoulites from South Chungchong Province or North Jeolla Province are more apt to approve of building the MAC. This, in result, shows that the Seoulites' opinion on building the MAC is influenced by the distance between Yongi-Kongju area and one's original birthplace. |
