The purpose of this study has been set on selecting the location of the disaster relief shelter whose in-between distances are the shortest when all the residents shunt from a disaster occurred in the limited time, allowing the range of study to 10 dong out of 26 dong in Kangnam Gu, Seoul; Nonhyun 1?2dong, Chungdam 1?2dong, Yucksam 1?2dong, Samsung 1?2dong, Daechi 3?4dong. The first procedure for selecting an appropriate location of a shelter was to designate a possible public facility as the new otional shelter in each dong. Second, the distance, which the adult men and women could move in the limited time(15min), was measured. Third, when the distances between the designated shelters was shorter than the measured movable distance and the mutual distances between the shelters were confirmed. Fourth, the general-purpose linear program, LINDO 6.01, was used to find the optimum solution which satisfied that all the residents could shunt in the limited time and that the distances between shelters were minimized, among the appointed shelters. As the result of this study, it is expected that more resonable method in selecting the locations of the shelters can be applied. |
