본 연구는 우리나라의 대표적인 민속마을인 양동마을의 전통주택 안채를 대상으로 지난 25년 동안 현대의 주생활을 수용하기 위하여 발생한 변화를 분석한 것이다.
??변화의 경향을 파악하기 위해 주택들을 문화재 지정 여부로 나누어 분석하였으며, 안채를 구성하는 공간(실)별 변화를 밝혔다. 그리고 공간적 변화와 외관 변화의 상관관계에 대해 분석하였다.
??문화재 한옥과 비문화재 주택의 변화를 비교한 결과, 비문화재 주택의 변화는 평균 21.8건으로 문화재 한옥 16.0건보다 36.3% 더 많았다. 또한 공간적 변화가 외관의 변화를 유발하는 비율도 비문화재주택(50.6%)이 문화재 한옥(29.9%)보다 20.7% 높았다. 그러나 변화의 양상은 문화재 지정 여부에 관계없이 유사하게 나타났다.
??공간적?외관 변화가 가장 많이 나타난 실은 부엌(전체 변화의 39.7%, 외관 유발 변화의 31.5%)이며, 다음으로는 안방, 대청 및 건넌방의 순으로 변화 빈도가 높았다.
??전체적으로 볼 때 공간적 변화(624건)의 절반가량(45.8%)이 외관 변화(286건)를 유발한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 외관의 변화를 유발하는 경향이 큰 항목은 ‘외부 연결’, ‘신설’ 등으로 분석되었다. 외부 연결, 창호재료, 바닥재료, 벽재료, 신설, 용도 변경 등의 항목은 외관 변화 유발의 유?무에 모두 관련되는 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 민속마을의 전통주택에서 외관의 변화를 유발하지 않고도 상당한 범주의 공간적 변화가 가능함을 암시한다. |

The objective of the study is to analyze the changes over past 25 years in the main buildings (An- chae) of traditional houses at Yangdong Village, a representative Korean Folk Village. The consequences of the study are summarized as follows; Both the spatial and external changes took place more at non-cultural property houses than at cultural property houses. However, the patterns of the change are clarified as similar in the two house types. In terms of a unit space (room), both the spatial and external changes took place dominantly at kitchen. In general, about the half (45.8%) of spatial changes have caused external changes. The changes in 'the (room's) linkage with outdoor' and 'the addition (of a new room)' are the factors that most frequently cause external changes. Almost all factors of the spatial change have/have not caused external changes, which implies that a wide range of spatial changes can be accommodated in the traditional houses at the Folk Village without external changes. |
