한국건설기술연구원은 기본과제 “복합기능 생태적 건물외피 조성기술개발”에서 국내에서 보편적으로 적용 가능한 이중외피 대안을 제시하고자 하였다. 주요 적용대상은 공동주택이지만, 특히 높은 풍압으로 인해 자연환기가 어려운 초고층의 주상복합건물이나 일반 사무공간에서 활용도가 높도록 각층별로 원활하게 적용 가능한 유닛형 이중외피시스템으로 개발되었다. 현재까지 국내에서 적용된 시스템들은 중공층 폭이 1000㎜ 내외의 시스템이었음으로 외벽기준의 설정이 어려워 법적 문제발생가능성이 높을 뿐만 아니라, 넓은 폭으로 인해 경제적인 측면에서도 다소 불리하였다. 이런 근본적 문제에 대응하기 위하여 본 대안은 기존의 외벽부에 적용가능성을 최대화하기 위해 200㎜이내에서 적용가능한 대안으로 개발되었다.
이를 위해 현재 선진국에서 개발된 다양한 시스템들의 기술동향을 분석하여 보다 국내기후여건과 시장여건에 맞는 대안을 개발하였다. 개발한 대안을 기존의 싱글외피와 비교실험할 수 있는 실험구를 만들어 동시에 가동하였다. 이를 통해 실제 기상조건하에서 에너지적인 그리고 자연환기라는 측면에서 기존 싱글외피에 대비해서 이중외피가 가지는 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 두가지 관점하에서 장기적 시간이 소요되는 본 실험은 2004년09월 이후 가동되었으며, 지난 혹한기를 거쳐 현재 지속적인 모니터링 중에 있다. |

Every sites have different given geometrical and climatic conditions, which influenced mot only the human livingtype but also the regional architecture. For example, the specification on a cold region is to reduce the energy loss, like a igloo, which has a littlest energy loss at hemisphere. Or that on a warm region is to protect the overheating of a house thermally from the sunshining. like a huge shading. A architectural interpretation in the (extreme) moderate climate, like Korea, has always tried to satisfy the both opposite demands simultaneously. A facade, which divides out- and inside, has a ideal position to lead the regulated regional climatic conditions into the room. Especially, the Double Facade System(DFS),which is well known as a innovative solution in the european countries, like Germany, provides an alternative, which can achieve these goals at the same time. A Double Facade System provides a effective sunshade, which means a cooling energy reduction at the warm season. In addition, it enables a natural ventilation at the cold seasons with the preheating at the system as well as spring and autumn. While an ordinary Single Facade System with a inside or outside sun blind provides a solution for a specified season, the Double Facade System can deal with the various climatic conditions like a moderate climate. |
