Impermeable area has increased and the water cycle has distorted by urbanization. Open-space like mountain and park has decreased by urbanization, so rainwater infiltration space has decreased. So it is necessary to make a proper rainwater infiltration system of the city. Considering the overseas trend, rainwater infiltration system is consist of first flush treatment, storage and infiltration, overflow control system. These elements are connected closely and working as a combined system. Rainwater infiltration elements of Korea are under development, however, these do not meet the international requirement yet. In korea, there is little place to set up the rainwater treatment system. Otherwise, the separate elements can not work effectively on storm-water. Therefore, when new rainwater system is developed, we should consider followings; Close connection of first flush treatment, storage and infiltration, overflow control system and minimization of installation space. This study suggest the Linear Infiltration System as a proper rainwater management system for Korea. |
