21세기 지구 환경의 보존 내지 자연과 인류의 지속적 생존을 위해서 생태적 사고로의 전환과 생태건축에의 추구는 필수적 사항이다. 최근 경제 수준과 생활수준의 향상으로 건강, 쾌적성 그리고 풍요로움을 추구하는 경향으로 주거의 기능이 바뀌고 있다. 즉 단순한 거처의 기능보다는 자연과 인간 사이 의 새로운 관계설정에 의한 인간성 회복의 장, 그리고 그 가능성을 실현하는 터전으로 인식이 바뀌고 있다. 이러한 주거환경에 아이덴티티(identity)를 부여한다면 그 장소에 대한 일체감이 커지고 생활에 대한 의미와 환경에 대한 애착감과 귀속감으로 삶의 질이 향상 될 것이다. 그러므로 우리의 아이덴티티를 확립시켜줄 수 있고 생태적으로도 적용이 가능한 우리 고유의 전통 주거건축에 기초한 생태건축으로의 대안 개발이 이루어져야 할 시점 이다. 이에 본 연구는 전통 주거건축의 생태적 가치를 규명하고 우리 풍토에 적합한 환경건축으로 응용, 적용하는 방법을 찾는데 그 의의를 두고 있으며, 특히 전통 주거의 실내공간에서 발견되는 생태적 특성과 실내 공간 원리를 유형화하여 그 특성을 현대에 적용하는 방안을 찾으므로 보다 나은 삶의 질 을 고취시키는 미래 생태 주거 공간의 대안을 제시하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 있다. |

The ideal housing in the 21st century means that it can provide people with the balanced life between nature and human life, which is possible through the systematic harmony of nature, environment, and human. As our society increasingly pays attention to the importance of environment, environment friendly houses and ecological dwellings are being built. If we add our own cult- ural environment attribute and historical identity to the ecological housing, we can create the most unique Korean ecological arc- hitecture. This study examines ecological interior expression methods from the traditional housing architecture which started out of nature, in order to find out an ecological approach in the interior design of the dwelling space. Based upon this examination, it mainly focuses on how these methods can be applied to a modern housing architecture. From an ecological perspective, the trad- itional house interior has two distinct characteristics; nature friendly and human friendly, because it considered nature and human harmoniously. The interior of the traditional housing can be divided into three types; nature friendly, health friendly, and human friendly. Finally, this study investigates the ecological value of the three types and application of them to modern housing. It will help to find out the harmonious way of building a house harmonizing both nature and human. Especially, considering that the nature is being destructed and the health of human is deteriorating due to the destruction of the nature, this study will show afeasible alternative to build the most Korean style of environmental architecture. |
