20세기 후반 마르쿠제는「해방에 관한 에세이」에서 사회의 생산능력은 예술의 창조능력과 유사할 수 있고, 예술세계의 구성은 실재 세계를 재구성 하는 것'이라고 했다. 또한 그는 구성주의의 기술영향에 대한 상상력의 이론 은 과학적이면서도 시적이어야 하고, 지식과 동시에 실천으로 이끄는 것이라 고 했다. 이는 러시아 구성주의가 예술에 있어 예술의 사회화를 통해 미적 즐거움만을 충족시켜주는 것이 아닌 대중을 위한 예술을 실행한 것에 대한 당위성을 제공하고 있다. 러시아 구성주의는 순수 형태추구와 기능적 추구 라는 두가지 조형적 양상으로 전 ?개되었다. 이는 기하학적 추상과 구성주의 보편적 합리화를 통한 기능적 형태를 추구하려는 모더니티의 기획을 실현하 고자 ?했다는 점에서 강력한 유토피아 운동의 하나였다. 본 연구는 20세기초 추상미술의 커다란 영역속에서 구성주의의 공간연출에 있어 재조명되고 있는 형태, 기능적 측면에서 공간에 나타나는 조형적 특성을 분류하고 그 분류에 따라 공간디자인에서 보여지는 표현적 특성을 연구하는데 목적이 있다. |

As a part of Avant-Garde movement centered in Russia before and after the Revolution in 1917, Russian Constructivism was born as most experimental and avant-garde modernity artistic movement. Russian Constructivism played a significant part in relative to Avant-Garde in the beginning of twentieth century and has contributed to a series of artistic movement, it deserves a status befitting its contribution to modern abstract art. Noticing the fact that Constructivist approaches are being attempted in modern architecture with the new rise of Constructivist design theory and increased interest in Constructivism, this thesis explores the design elements characterizing Constructivism in art and architecture To be specific, it suggests the relation of Plastic paradigm in formalistic, elemental and technical aspects and categories into Plastic characteristics. Thereby, the thesis aims to categorize the elements in terms of contradicting two trends of pure plastic and scientific expressions, and to analyze comparatively the related plastic trends represented in modern space design. The thesis recognizes that attempts to break out from stereotypes of Constructivism to reinvent itself constantly have contributed to an unconventional forms and new aesthetic standards and have a great impact on idealistic forms in many genres. |
