The purpose of this study is to the spatial configuration characteristics of university campuses by quantitative analysis. For the case study, sixteen sample were selected among university campus in Seoul.
The process of this study is as follows. 1)Sixteen sample universities were categorized int three types based on circulation system, condition of location, composed of building. 2)Figure out the spatial configuration using space syntax theory. Integration and Intelligibility, Connectivity, major index of space syntax theory, were used as design parameters. 3)Comparison to the characteristics of each type.
As a result, this study is helps theoretical position of developmental campus masterplan in future. |
