¿ä¾à2 Design education is an essential part of an architectural education. This study was accomplished to analyze design characteristics and weakness of students in detail at their design studio in terms of observation and record. The main issue of analysis is; a frequency and a cause of design lternatives, and weak points of design . And the results of analysis are as follows; ¨ç conversion and overlapping of an axis is the main generator of design alternatives, ¨è exterior space design, main entrance, core design, design with the conversion and overlapping of an axis, section design concept and structural design concept - are thought to beweak points of student's design in general.
