동북아 물류기지로서의 육성을 목표로 해양으로의 진출을 꾀하고 있는 현 시점에서 우리나라의 항만은 어떻게 개발하여야 되는가가 최대의 관점으로 남아 있다. 물류기지는 물류의 기능적인 측면, 즉, 화물 이동의 편리성, 배후부지의 기능 등이 대단히 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있다. 그러나 최근에는 이러한 물리적인 측면과 더불어 경관적인 측면에서의 검토가 중요한 요소로서 대두되고 있는 실정으로 이러한 추세는 세계적인 수많은 항구들 중에서도 미항으로써의 애칭을 가지고 수많은 관광객을 끌어들이고 있는 도시들을 볼 때 항구도시 자체의 경관정비를 통해 관광자원화 시킬 수 있는 좋은 예이기 때문이기도 하다. 이러한 맥락에서 항구개발도 최근에는 기능적인 면뿐만 아니라 경관적으로도 아름답고 쾌적한 항구를 조성하여 찾아오는 관광공간으로의 전환을 꽤하고 있다. 특히 항구는 바다라는 수면을 가지고 있고 이는 많은 사람들의 낭만을 불러일으키는 요소이기도 하여 어떻게 항구의 주변공간을 조성하느냐에 따라 친근감에는 많은 차이를 보일 것이다.
본 논문은 이러한 항만도시를 쾌적하고 아름답고 친근감 있는 공간으로 만들기 위해서 어떻게 접근하여야 될 것인가를 파악하기 위하여, 특히 경제특구로서의 컨테이너 부두를 가진 항구를 중심으로 기존의 동남아에서 물동량이 증가하고 있는 컨테이너 항구를 중심으로 수많은 외국선적의 배들이 입출항하고 있는 항구, 관광객이 많이 찾는 항구와 우리나라 부산항을 대상으로 컨테이너 부두와 그 주변 배후도시를 포함한 공간들이 어떠한 특징을 가지고 있고, 각 공간을 보았을 때의 경관만족도에 미치는 시각적인 요소들을 파악하고 이들 요소들이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 안구운동을 중심으로 검토하여 항만경관을 컨트롤하는 주요 요소를 파악하고자 하며, 이를 앞으로의 컨테이너 항구를 조성하는데 그 기초자료로 활용하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. |

It is necessary to research for environmental features of regions rather than each building and scenery to form desirable city landscape that describes placeness concretely. In case of Korea, vast harbors and industry complex are generally located in the waterfront of port cities because the waterfront is noticed as one factor which supplies a fresh ground. So, waterfront forms a wide andlong blackout curtain that causes the destruction of nature, shapes a factory structure curtain, and completely covers hinterland landscape. It makes hard for citizens to access to the seaside, deprives capacity of waterfront for water-familiar, and destructs beautiful seashore environment. This research project is to provide those architects or planners with the design guidelines of improving port and hinterland landscape. To do so, this study is carried out the physiological evaluation making eye fixation behaviors.
