It is true that apart from the studies on museum environment mainly associated with conservation and lighting, there is little practical data available for architects. Therefore, this paper aims at finding out on appropriate methodological suggests by which practical data for architects can be obtained. It is tacked by thorough investigation of the exsting studies concerning museum architecture and positive architectural researchs. This paper suggests that the primary concern of the architectural reseaches on museums should be about spatial composition and physical distribution which are the most useful data for architect, especially at the early stage of the museum design. |
