¿ä¾à2 This study investigates a web-based maintenance management system to maintain building quality of dwelling units in multi-family housing. Management system for apartments, for example, has been concentrated on public areas and conducted manually. Thus, management in dwelling units was considered as each resident's duty and was not conducted systematically. In the age of internet, this study introduces a web-based management system to combine residents, managers, and technicians. Residents report problems through internet and managers give orders to technicians through internet. This system has advantages in active participation of residents in dwelling maintenance, efficient intercommunication among residents, managers, and technicians for management, accumulation of repairing history, large-sphere maintenance management including apartments, row-housing, suburban housing. As a conclusion, this study suggests a web-based maintenance model with managing items and processes for dwelling units in multi-family housing.
