The renewal for the existing office building primary cooling system requires to consider man factors such as life cycle cost, resource use, function, indoor quality, architectural quality and living environmental. However the current renewal method mostly considers only the simple economic factor even not taking into account the life cycle of the equipment. Consequently, it could not evaluate the integrated performance of various optional renewal cases. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a statistical method - AMP(analytic hierarchy process) and to evaluate three optional cooling renewal cases such as turbo compression type, thermal storage type and absorption type for office building. The developed method and a case study indicated that the turbo option would be the best choice among the options according to the AHP and the surveyed data. |
