The shaking table using stepping motor is manufactured and its perfomance is tested in the previous study, In this study, the focus is on the experimental analysis fo building structures installed tuned mass dampers. Two kinds of building structures are made, the first story and the third story and cantilever-typed mass dampers are manufactured for this experiment. The stiffness of dampers are adjusted according to the length of the cantilever. Experimental results are compared to those of unmerical ones. It is shown that two kinds of results are in good agreement with each other. During the experiment, some technical problems are found like increasing the damping of buildings and dmapers. Next experimental study will include such practical problems. |
