¿ä¾à1 The purpose of this paper is to study the postbuckling behavior considering local buckling of space trusses under conservative loading conditions. To perform this analysis, the solution procedure for overcoming limits points must be used. Therefore, the present paper is used the arc-length method which is applied in conjunction with the constant stiffness parameter when load is incremented. This method can trace the elastic postbuckling paths and the completely geometrical nonlinear paths. The illustrative numerical examples are given in the trace of load-deflection curves of space trusses with different geometries.
