¿ä¾à2 In the conventional analysis of multistiry frames. cinsiderable amounts of false bending moments and shear forces are induced in the members of the frame by thr false differential column shortening due to the sequential dead loads.Utiling the substructuring techniques, the method uded in this study introduces the concepts of active, inactive and deactivated substructures and the entire frame is analyzed by "one substructure-at-a-time" approach in the reverse order of due to dead loads in the conventional analysis and the effectiveness of the new frame analysis technique proposed in this study which takes into account the constuction sequence.
