The Cross Spectral Method is one of Sund Intensity Methods. This new method has two advantages.First, this method makes it possible to measure the field transmission loss more accurately than the conventional field test dies. Second, this method makes it possible to measure the field transmission Ioss at low frequencies more accurately than the Direct Mothod(among Sound Intensity Methods)does. This Study shows that the new methid is applied to the measurement of field transmission loss through doors at high back ground noises. The measured values of the Cross-spectral method are simission loss thriugh doors at high back ground noises. The measured values of the Cross-spectral method are similar to those of two room transmission suite method. On the other hand, there is a large difference between the measured values of the two room transmission suite method and thdse of the conventional field test method. |
