This study aims to identify discrepancies between the supply of accessibility to neighborhood parks (including rivers) and the perceived accessibility considering resistance elements in the pedestrian environment. It also seeks to classify park types across Seoul using a quadrant analysis based on the park sufficiency perception index to understand their current status. Results show that larger parks and rivers are significantly impacted by resistance factors, resulting in lower perceived accessibility, while regions adjacent to tributary rivers exhibit higher perceived accessibility, highlighting discrepancies with the "2030 Seoul Living Sphere Plan." Special-purpose parks are less affected by resistance factors, whereas routinely accessed parks are more impacted. The analysis also reveals that areas with high perceived accessibility and ample park facilities tend to cluster around these tributary rivers, indicating a broader actual service radius for these parks than planned, suggesting that considering pedestrian access environments can enhance park accessibility. |
