The purpose is to propose a direction that respond to social changes for the sustainable development of low-rise residential areas. After confirming the necessity of forming a city that becomes an independent entity in response to changes in the industrial structure, and analyzing future housing that coexists with industrial facilities in the city, a plan for a low-rise residential area is proposed. For this study, first, prior research and status of industrial facilities in Seoul and the metropolitan area is analyzed. Second, domestic and foreign cases is analyzed for apartment houses related to urban industrial facilities. Third, reflecting the analysis results, an industrial symbiosis housing plan is applied to Seorim-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. It propose a low-rise residential area with a self-sustaining system through coexistence, not separating it from an industrial complex, and proposed a new industrial low-rise residential area in the city where residents¡¯ lives can continue, going beyond providing only physically improved housing. |
