본 연구는 사회경제적 수준의 차이가 있는 지역들의 생활권공원 서비스 현황을 파악하고 실제 해당지역 노인 공원 이용자들의 인식 및 만족도에 차이가 있는지 파악하는 것을 목적으로하였다.?? 이를 위해 GIS를 이용하여 대구시 북구와 수성구,?? 성남시 수정ㆍ중원구,?? 분당구의 생활권공원 이용권 분석을 실시하였으며,?? 설문조사를 통하여 공원을 이용하는 노인들의 인식 및 이용 만족도를 파악하였다.?? 분석 결과,?? 상대적으로 사회경제적 수준이 낮은 지역의 생활권 공원의양이 부족한 것으로 나타났으며,?? 공원의 충분함,?? 접근성,?? 안전성에 대한 만족도 역시 유의적으로낮은 것으로 조사되었다.?? 노인 이용자들은 휴게시설,?? 자연환경,?? 관리상태 등에서는 유사한 만족도를 나타났으나,?? 편의시설,?? 운동시설 등에 있어서는 사회경제적 수준이 낮은 지역 응답자의 만족도가 낮게 나타났다.?? 노인들의 공원 이용증진과 공원서비스 형평성 향상을 위해서는 양적 공급 분석 뿐 아니라 실제 노인 이용자들의 요구 및 만족도 파악을 위한 질적인 연구가 필요할것이다. |

The present study investigated disparities in park services and seniors’ satisfaction on using neighborhood parks by socioeconomic status(SES). Four neighborhoods with different income levels in Seongnam City and Daegu City were purposely selected for comparison. The park services were analyzed using GIS and a question -naire survey was conducted with senior park users to examine their perception and satisfaction on parks. We found that low SES neighborhoods had lower amounts of parks than high SES areas. In addition, the park users in low SES areas had lower level of satisfaction with park availability, accessibility and safety than those in high SES areas. No significant differences were found in the satisfaction with rest areas, naturalness, and management, but the seniors in low SES areas had lower level of satisfaction with amenities and fitness facilities. More qualitative studies on seniors’ needs and satisfaction with parks will be needed to promote seniors’ park uses and physical activity. |
