본 연구는 해외 내륙 수변공간사례를 분석하여 도시 근교에 있는 내륙 수변공간이 활성화되기 위해 고려해야 할 계획요소와 시사점에 대하여 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구방법은 내륙 수변공간에 대한 이론적 고찰과 해외사례분석을 진행하였다. 일본 유후인의 긴린 호수, 슬로베니아의 블레드 호수, 오스트리아의 할슈타트 호수의 내륙 수변공간 활성화를 위한 주요 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내륙 수변공간의 역사, 문화, 예술과 같은 비물리적인 지역자원을 활용하여 지역 정체성을 확립하고 개성이 있는 활성화가 이루어졌다. 둘째, 이미지 변화에 성공하여 내륙 수변공간의 지역 활성화가 이루어졌다. 셋째, 통합계획을 세워 내륙 수변공간이 속한 마을 전체가 공통된 프로그램 및 계획요소를 구성하고 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 내륙 수변공간이 여가와 휴식공간을 제공하고 지역 정체성과 경관재정비를 통한 활성화를 기대할 수 있을 것이다. |

This study examines the overseas cases of inland waterfront to find the ways to establish regional identity through the planning and programs that take into consideration the features of inland waterfronts and local resources. A theoretical review and case studies were conducted on Kinrin Lake in Japan, Lake Bled in Slovenia and Lake Hallstatt in Austria. The findings of this research are as follows: First, various non-physical local resources related to inland waterfronts were utilized to establish the identity of that region. Second, the image of inland waterfronts has changed successfully, thereby playing a crucial role in revitalizing regions with uniqueness. Third, different villages bordering the same inland waterfront have come up with a comprehensive plan, which enabled them to share common programs and planning elements. This study will help clarify how inland waterfronts in the suburban area will be able to serve as a space for recreation and rest for tourists, a source of income for local residents and a vehicle for regional revitalization through beautification of the landscape. |
