본 연구는 도시이미지 관련 국내 연구를 이론논문, 사례논문, 계량논문으로 분류하여 고찰함으로써 도시이미지 연구 동향과 향후 연구의 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 분류된 논문의 동향 분석은 다음과 같은 네 가지 관점에서 진행되었다. 첫째, 시간적 범위는 한국학술정보(kiss.kstudy.com)에서 ‘도시이미지’ 키워드로 검색된 논문 중에서 1985년부터 2015년까지 30년 동안 게재된 논문을 대상으로 분석하였다. 둘째, 도시이미지 연구에서 사용한 연구방법론에 대해 분석하였다. 셋째, 이론?사례?계량으로 분류한 논문을 대상으로 주제별 분석을 하였다. 넷째, 다양한 도시이 미지 연구 동향을 분야별로 분류해 연구 방법과 함께 ‘도시?건축, 관광, 사회?문화, 디자인, 환경?지리‘ 총 5가지 분야로 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 이론논문은 전체 179편 중 49.2%로 88편을 차지하고 있으며, 이 중 이론검증형과 정책제안형이 각각 28편(31.8%), 49편(55.7%)로 문헌검토형이 11편(12.5%)로 정책제안형을 제외한 두 연구는 점점 감소하는 추세이다. 사례논문은 36.3%로 65편을 차지하고 있었다. 사례연구는 증가하는 추세이며, 도시이미지 연구 분야가 다양해질수록 연구방법은 대상지?이용자의 관계를 검증하고, 이에 따른 영향성을 물리적?사회적? 환경적 전반적인 분야에까지 적용되어야 할 것이다. 반면에, 계량논문은 26편으로 14.5%에 불과하지만, 계량논문은 2000년대 들어서면서 계속 증가 중이다. 사람과 환경 사이에 발생하는 작용을 단순히 현상과 실험으로 검증하는 방법에 그치지 않고, 기술발전에 의한 다양한 연구방법을 통해 급변하는 사회에 도움을 줄 수 있으므로 앞으로 필수적 연구 분야로 생각된다. |

This paper categorizes Korean researches of urban image as ‘theory paper, case study, and simulation research’ and has investigated on the research trend of urban image and its development. The research trend of categorized papers has been analyzed on four criteria as follows. First, the time scale of publication has been fixed from 1985 to 2015, for the papers that has been searched by the keyword ‘Urban Image’ in Korean Studies Information(kiss. kstudy.com). Second, the analysis methodology fir urban image has been researched. Third,subject analysis has been accomplished under ‘review paper, case study and simulation research’ category. Finally, the research range of urban image has been focused on Research Trend of ‘Cities & Architecture, Tourism, Society & Culture, Design and Environment & Geography’, which has been referred to the publication of academic society. Moreover, this research has targeted on not only academic field, but also on various areas for the subject of urban image. In this context, the review papers are concentrating on theoretical problems and validation, which lacks the focus on applicability and multidisciplinary approach. Most case studies are mainly studying on phenomenal issues and its experiment. Simulation research has to be a mandatory research field, since it treats the relationship of environment and human activity as technological advancement, which can contribute to the so-called suddenlychanging society. |
